NAAUSA Written Testimony on FY26 Department of Justice Funding Request
On behalf of the National Association of Assistant United States Attorneys (NAAUSA), representing the interests of over 6,000 Assistant U.S. Attorneys working in the 94 U.S. Attorney Offices (USAO), I write in support of the administration’s FY26 budget request for USAOs and the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys. Adding over 500 positions, including over 400 federal prosecutors, will provide additional necessary capacity for U.S. Attorneys prosecuting crime and enforcing the law across the nation.
