Our Work

NAAUSA is the voice of over 6,000 career Assistant United States Attorneys in the Department of Justice, the administration and Congress. NAAUSA’s advocacy is focused on helping safeguard justice and ensuring AUSAs are provided with the resources, tools, and support necessary to meet their critical public safety missions.

NAAUSA is often called upon by policymakers in Congress to offer technical input on criminal justice legislation – NAAUSA often taps into the collective expertise of our AUSA members to provide this real-world feedback and insight.

Many of NAAUSA’s legislative initiatives need active involvement by AUSAs to build support on Capitol Hill and become law.

Look up your House representative.
